Women's Basketball Falls to Conference Leader Bridgewater State

Bridgewater, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's basketball team suffered a 72-53 loss to conference leader Bridgewater State University this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at the Tinsley Center.

-Records: Framingham State (11-8, 4-3 MASCAC), Bridgewater State (14-6, 6-1 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led by 12 points and eight rebounds from Faith Greene. Greene connected on 6-of-12 from the floor and added an assist and a block. 

  • Kiara Cerruti came off the bench and also tallied 12 points in the game. Cerruti connected on 2-of-5 from behind the arc and added four rebounds and an assist. 

  • Katherine Haselton chipped in with 11 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Jacqueline Schels added eight points and 10 rebounds. 

  • The Rams struggled from the floor in the game shooting just 30% from the game and just 23% from behind the arc, while the Bears shot 40% from the floor and 35% from long range.
