Women's Basketball Comeback Falls Short at Wheaton

Norton, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's basketball team fell behind early but battled back as the Rams were defeated 79-75 by Wheaton College this evening in non-conference action at Emerson Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were paced by a career-high 33 points from Jacqueline Schels. Schels connected on 9-of-19 from the field and added 11 rebounds to complete the double-double. 

  • Kiara Cerruti chipped in with 11 points on 3-of-10 from the field and added three rebounds, while Zaria Anderson came off the bench to score 10 points with three rebounds. 

  • Abigail Martin finished the night with nine points and seven rebounds, while Kelsey Yelle finished with six points and six boards.
