Women’s Basketball Falls to Bridgewater State

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's basketball team tied the game on a three point play by Kelsey Yelle with 1:43 to play, but Bridgewater State scored the final nine points of the game to secure a 66-57 victory over the Rams in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Logan Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led by a double double of 17 points and 11 rebounds from Faith Greene. Greene connected on 7-of-19 from the floor and added an assist and a block. 

  • Kiara Cerruti finished the game with 14 points as she connected on 2-of-6 from behind the arc and added seven rebounds and a steal. 

  • Jacqueline Schels chipped in with 10 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists. 

  • Yelle and Abigail Martin chipped in with eight points apiece. Martin grabbed six rebounds, while Yelle had five.
