Women's Ice Hockey Shutout by Salem State

Salem, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's ice hockey team was defeated 5-0 by Salem State this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Rockett Arena.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Vikings jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period. The Vikings got on the board just 29 seconds into the frame and added a power play goal midway through the period. 

  • The Vikings capped the scoring with a pair of goals in the second period to reach the final margin. 

  • Brigid Milligan took the loss for the Rams between the pipes making 29 saves, while Zoe Klein made three saves in relief. 

  • The Vikings outshot the Rams 37-15 in the game and went 1-for-10 on the power play, while the Rams went 0-for-7.
