Women’s Ice Hockey Defeated 4-1 by Worcester State

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's ice hockey team was defeated 4-1 by Worcester State this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Loring Arena.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Lancers got on the board with 7:33 to play in the first, but the Rams tied the game on an Ella Conway tally with 5:27 left in the opening period.  Avery Wolfe and Ruby Boucher assisted on the goal.  

  • The Lancers reclaimed the with a goal in the final two minutes and led 2-1 after one. Neither team scored in the second until the final minute when the Lancers pushed the lead to 3-1 on a goal from Kaia Carlson. 

  • The Lancers added a single goal in the third to reach the final score. 

  • Lila Chamoun took the loss in net for the Rams but made 56 saves as the Lancers outshot the Rams 60-30 in the game.
