Women’s Lacrosse Falls to #14 Babson

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team was defeated 20-7 by fourteenth ranked Babson College this afternoon in non-conference action at Maple Street Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led by five goals from Leah Green, while Hailey Baker finished the game with a goal and four assists. 

  • Kelley DeBellis chipped in with a goal and Alessia Lye added an assist for the Rams. 

  • The Beavers jumped out to a 4-0 lead before DeBellis got the Rams on the board with an unassisted tally in the final minute of the first.  The Beavers closed the period with two goals and led 6-1 after one. 

  • Babson opened the second period with a 4-0 run before Green cut the deficit to 10-2 with just under seven minutes to play. 

  • Babson tallied the final four goals of the second to lead 14-2 at the half..
