Volleyball Falls 3-1 to Worcester State in Home Opener

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University volleyball team rallied to take set two, but were ultimately defeated 3-1 by Worcester State University this evening in non-conference action at Logan Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Lancer took the match by scores of 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 25-17. 

• The Rams were paced by a double double of 12 kills and 11 digs from Jaimee Lowe, while Hope Verhoeven added 11 kills and four digs. 

• Natalie Reynolds added 10 kills on 118 attempts in the match, while Stella Bailey recorded 33 set assists with nine digs. 

• Carly Beaulieu added 16 digs and three aces, while Mackenzie Heaney finished the match with eight digs and a pair of aces. 

• The Lancers were led by 13 kills from Kate Stedronsky, while Katie Cueva added nine and eight digs. 

• Katherine Crateau chipped in with 18 defensive digs, while Cassie Millea added 16 digs.
