Field Hockey Tripped Up at Salem State in MASCAC Clash

Salem, MA - The Framingham State field hockey team faced off against the Salem State Vikings in a MASCAC conference matchup on September 23, 2025, at Alumni Field. Despite a strong effort, the Rams fell to the Vikings with a final score of 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

  • Salem State opened the scoring at the 15:00 mark of the first period with a goal from Zoey Radford, assisted by Mikayla Talbot. 

  • Framingham State responded in the second period when Finley Hogan found the back of the net at 22:49, with an assist from Allison Harmuth, tying the game at 1-1. 

  • Salem State quickly regained the lead less than a minute later with an unassisted goal by Mady Breault at 23:46. 

  • The final goal of the game came in the third period at 39:02, as Zoey Radford scored her second goal of the match, assisted by Grace Morey, securing the 3-1 victory for Salem State. 

 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • Framingham State outshot Salem State 17-22, with 13 shots on goal compared to Salem State's 16. 

  • Finley Hogan led the Rams with six shots, four on goal, and one goal. 

  • Salem State's Izzy Mosley recorded 11 saves in the win.
