Rivier Skates Past Women's Ice Hockey 5-2 in MASCAC Action
NASHUA, NH – Chloe Bryda scored twice and added an assist as the Rivier women's hockey team defeated Framingham State 5-2 on Friday night at the Rivier Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Rivier struck first at 10:40 of the opening period when Chloe Bryda scored her 10th goal of the season, assisted by Marina Bassett.
- Framingham State answered quickly in the second period, with Sarah Lewis scoring just 29 seconds into the frame off an assist from Alexis Brown to tie the game at 1-1.
- Rivier regained the lead at 7:01 of the second on a power-play goal by Olivia Schultz, assisted by Bryda, making it 2-1.
- The Rams tied it again at 15:00 of the second when Molly Murphy scored her sixth goal of the season with assists from Brown and Lewis, knotting the score at 2-2 heading into the third period.
- Rivier seized control in the third period, scoring three unanswered goals. Lillian Wojcicki netted the game-winner unassisted just 34 seconds into the period.
- Lexi Davies extended the lead to 4-2 at 4:58 with a power-play tally assisted by Jessica Driscoll. Framingham State called timeout and replaced goaltender Lila Chamoun with Brigid Milligan.
- Bryda added her second goal of the night at 7:51 with helpers from Molly Dukesherer and Alexa Vencill to complete the scoring.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Rivier outshot Framingham State 50-35, including a dominant 22-11 advantage in the second period.
- The Raiders went 2-for-3 on the power play, while Framingham State was 0-for-2.
- Rivier goaltender Taylor Bruno earned the win with 33 saves on 35 shots.
- For Framingham State, Chamoun made 36 saves in 44:58 of work before giving way to Milligan, who stopped 9 of 10 shots in relief.
- Bryda finished with two goals and one assist for Rivier. Lewis and Brown each recorded a goal and an assist for the Rams, while Murphy also tallied a goal and an assist.
