Volleyball Sweeps Tri-match with St. Joe’s (ME) and Saint Joseph (Conn.)

West Hartford, Conn. - The Framingham State University volleyball team won a pair of matches this afternoon defeating St. Joseph's (ME) 3-1 before defeating Saint Joseph's (Conn.) 3-0 in non-conference action at James Calhoun Gymnasium.

- Scores:  Framingham State 3, St. Joe's (ME) (27-25, 25-27, 25-14, 25-18)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • In the opener against the Monks, the Rams were led by 18 kills from Natalie Reynolds who added a pair of blocks. 

  • Madysen Cedrone chipped in with 12 kills, three digs and a block, while Jamie Moniz finished the match with seven kills and two blocks. 

  • Stella Bailey gave the Rams 32 set assists and 17 defensive digs to go along with four aces, while Carly Beaulieu finished the match with 19 digs and six aces. 

  • Kristina Santiago-Alers added 15 digs and three assists, while Anneli DiVIrgilio and Jamiee Lowe chipped in with 13 and 10 digs respectively. 

  • Against the hosts in their second match, the Rams received 15 kills from Reynolds, while Sarah Medeiros added eight. 

  • Bailey finished the match with 33 assists and eight digs, while Santiago-Alers and DiVirgilio added 11 and digs.
