Volleyball Falls in Five Sets to Emmanuel

Framingham, Mass.  - The Framingham State University volleyball team led 2-1 going to the fourth set, but Emmanuel College rallied for two straight securing a 3-2 victory over the Rams this evening in non-conference action at Logan Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• After falling in the first set 25-16, the Rams rallied, taking the next two by scores of 25-18 and 25-22. Emmanuel pulled out a tight fourth set 25-22 before securing the victory 15-6 in the final stanza. 

• Sarah Medeiros paced the Rams on the attack with 14 kills to go along with three digs, while Madysen Cedrone finished the night with 10 kills and 19 defensive digs. 

• Natalie Reynolds chipped in with nine kills, three digs, two blocks and an ace, while Stella Bailed finished the match with 33 set assists, 21 digs and four service aces. 

• Anneli DiVirgilio added 23 digs, five assists and two aces, while Carly Beaulieu finished the night with 10 digs and an ace.
