Volleyball Falls 3-1 to Bridgewater State in MASCAC Clash

Bridgewater, Mass.  - The Framingham State University volleyball team was defeated 3-1 by Bridgewater State this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at the Tinsley Center.

- Scores:  Bridgewater State 3, Framingham State 1 (25-20, 27-25, 19-25, 25-16) 

- Records:  Framingham State (12-5, 3-1), Bridgewater State (10-3, 4-0) 

- Location:  Tinsley Center – Bridgewater, Mass.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• After falling in the first two sets 25-20 and 27-25, the Rams took the third frame by a score of 25-19. Bridgewater State jumped out to the early lead in the fourth, taking the set and the match 25-16. 

• Natalie Reynolds led the Rams with 14 kills, three digs and two blocks, while Sarah Medeiros added nine kills and a pair of digs. 

• Stella Bailey chipped in with 24 set assists and six digs, while Kristina Santiago-Alers added 18 digs, three assists and an ace. 

• Carly Beaulieu finished the match with seven digs and two aces, while Anneli DiVirgilio finished with nine digs.
