Nee Selected MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman middle hitter Ashley Nee (Hanson, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's volleyball player of the week for the week ending September 11^th. 

Nee averaged 8.9 kills, 4.1 digs and 1.9 blocks per match as the Rams started the 2011 campaign 5-3.  She recorded 13 kills and three blocks in the Rams home opener, a 3-2 win over Mount Ida last Tuesday night.  She followed that up with 10 kills and three blocks as the Rams defeated the Mustangs for the second time in less than a week on Friday night at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Invitational.
