Volleyball Falls to Coast Guard and Wheaton

Norton, Mass. - The Framingham State University volleyball team suffered a pair of losses this afternoon falling 3-1 to Coast Guard and 3-0 to Wheaton in non-conference action at the Evelyn Danzing Haas Center.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams fell to the Bears by scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-27, 25-15 in their first match of the day. 

• Natalie Reynolds paced the Rams with 14 kills and two digs, while Sarah Medeiros added 11 kills, two digs and two blocks. 

• Emma Dobbins chipped in with seven kills and three digs, while Madysen Cedrone added eight kills and six digs. 

• Stella Bailey and Carly Beaulieu led the defense with 12 digs apiece, while Kristina Santiago-Alers and Anneli DiVirgilio added 11 apiece. 

• The Rams were defeated by the host Lyons in their second match of the day by scores of 25-10, 25-12 and 25-10. 

• Medeiros led the Rams with six kills in the match, while Jamie Moniz added three. 

• Beaulieu and Santiago-Alers led the defense with nine digs apiece, while DiVirgilio added six.
